Hey, Hey. Finally something positive about our friend Pavano. Thanks for reporting that.
He is going to have a great year! And then be traded next winter for a hot young catcher.

What kind of eqiupment would you need to get good audio, with your access? I bet folks here would chip in to help you get it, if the paper wasn't willing to pony up.

Pavano has me again. He's alot like an alcoholic dad. He says he is going to take me to the park every morning and I get my hopes up but he just ends up passed out on the couch all the time.

Imagine Pavano actually contributes this year. If he is effective as our 4, I honestly think that could put us over the top.

Thanks, Pete for the great info and tidbits. I mean, where else are we gonna hear that Igawa's new fave is the hot dog?

We keep hearing how competitive Igawa is. I wonder if he'll challenge Kobayashi in the hot dog eating contest next year. lol.

I'm not going to get tickled pink about Carl until I see him on the mound at Yankee Stadium. Until than this is the same as it was last year.

Gotta second Anthony's vote. I check in here first before I go to the newspaper websites. (Just curious, but why isn't the Journal News listed on sportspages.com?) This blog is all meat, no filler. It's educational, insightful and entertaining. Pete, your hard work is not lost on us, so I'm guessing it's not lost on the rest of the industry. Hope you're not exercising your right to opt out after this year like A-Rod and going someplace else.

Pete... of course we still read on weekends! You are now my first source for Yankees info, it is from this page that I then go on to view other blogs, newsources, and such. You are just such a good hub of information. I absolutely love the blog... and all the posts throughout the day on what's going on at spring training. I like knowing how the starters are pitching, how the rookies are pitching, how guys I don't even know about yet are hitting, what the drama is, what the layout of the locker room is like, what the coaches are thinking, how the food is like, what the mood is like... EVERYTHING. Keep it up, it's really a fantastic site... though my girlfriend is growing to believe that I spend more time looking at your site than I spend with her. I'll amend all this though.
