Our third poll has run its course and it’s a landslide.

An overwhelming 63 percent of the voters picked the Jeter-Rodriguez saga as the silliest story of the first week of spring training. I sort of figured that. Thanks to the nearly 1,000 readers who voted.

Here are final results:

What is the dumbest story of spring training so far?

Bernie Williams won’t come to camp, pouts at home: 19% (185 votes)

Mike Mussina squabbles with Carl Pavano: 6% (63 votes)

Newly honest Alex Rodriguez admits he’s not best buddies with Derek Jeter: 63% (625 votes)

None of it is silly, I love the drama: 11% (113 votes)
