Hey Pete thanks for the Update. Igawa vs Kartens? This should be fun . Go Iron Beaver.

  2. MaximMan121

    Love the blog.

I wonder–will Thursday’s game with Wang/Hughes pitching for the Yankees be televised? If so, where and when.

    Thanks!

  3. b>m

I think yankees spring training games will be televised on March 1 via Yes

  4. Todd Drew

I’m happy to see that Pavano is healthy enough to be penciled in for Sunday.

  5. asburyboss

I would bet heavy on the Home team of the intrasquad game…I’m calling Vegas.

  6. Chappy

I want them to make Pavano pitch hurt.

  7. Chris NY

It’s only spring training Chappy, let the guy get through this first before a very minor injury turns into something because he pitched hurt…

  8. Fernando Alejandro

Ha! Pavano pitching hurt is like Damon playing healthy. It just won’t happen.

  9. Keeping expectations low for Yanks’ own Felix Unger at River Ave. Blues

[...] Meanwhile, Pavano is indeed slated to pitch on Sunday against the Phillies during a Grapefruit League contest. Sadly, the game won’t be on TV, but many other games will be shown on the YES Network in the coming weeks. Glory days are here again. [...]

  10. TurnTwo

The one thing I dont understand is that the Yankees have their own channel. The channel was created to televise Yankees games… so why doesnt the network that was created to televise Yankees games, well televise all of the Yankees games?

i can understand spring training away games, where they dont have TV cameras readily set up to broadcast like they would in Tampa… but if they have a home ST game, it should be on, dont you think?

  11. Bill

I thought YES was showing the game on Thursday, at 1:00 pm.

  12. TurnTwo

    yeah, they are.

  13. Chris NY

I agree TurnTwo, no idea why all of their ST games wouldn’t be on YES…

[...] Carl Pavano had an MRI on his foot Sunday and it looks like nothing more than a bruise. He’s slated to pitch on Sunday in a spring training game against Philadelphia. [...]

  15. kasey

i’ll bet any willing taker any amount of money that pavano either misses the start or gets shelved for a while following the start. even if it is “just a bone bruise,” a bruised ass kept the dude on the sidelines for months. any takers? i thought not.

    There he blows!

    ^ wow!

anyway, YES should have daily video updates of Yanks ongoings. That’s what the station is there for. instead they’re televising a stupid radio show! or airing Yogi Berra on Centerstage for the 1000th time.

at least Thursday’s game will be aired. Hughes is going, nice!

  19. mel

Alex, don’t be fooled. It’s the old “Fat and 40″ trick to lull the competition into a false sense of security. Opening day he’ll take the pillow out of his uni before he takes the mound. lol. My god how do those little legs support that torso?

  20. Jason

I would love to watch the Thursday game, with Wang, Hughes, Oheldorf, and Vizcaino. Good thing its on YES.

this site is the shit i love it

    lets go yanks
