It’s a little chilly at Legends Field

It’s 60 degrees in Tampa as we get underway. Wearing shorts was a bad decision. Most of the players have long-sleeve t-shirts under their jerseys.

Lots of empty seats at Legends Field despite the game being sold out.

Actually, it’s 61 degrees here in central New Jersey. But, I know it’s short-lived. They say on Tuesday it’s back to the 20′s.

I don’t know what to make of 60. I live in North Georgia where the weather fluctuates so much during the winter months that sometimes 60 feels cold and sometimes it feels warm.

What’s with Yankees trying to stretch singles into doubles? It’s just spring, fellas, lol. Although i know Phelps is fighting for a spot so he wanted to impress..out by a mile though.

Peter: What would happen to your book sales if Chien-Ming Wang gets hurt in spring training?

It’s around the 10′s here in Utah!

It was 94 here the other day. 60 is cold.

    Thanks, Janet.

Jacks44: The book sells itself. At least the chapters I wrote :-) (only kidding)

Pete – No complaints about the weather there — in the past week we’ve had snow, sleet, ice, black ice, strong winds etc. Yesterday we had 5-6 inches of rain in the NY metro area and cars were stalled all over the place as they tried to drive through the puddles. As you know, winter started in February this year in our area, and it looks as though it is staying for a while. Right now it is 22 degrees here in Central CT.
No more weather reports – OK? Those of us still in the Northeast can’t take it.
