Jorge Posada drilled a solo homer in the fourth. Yankees still trail by run going into the bottom of the sixth.

    Jorgie juiced one!

Suzyn and John were impressed with Henn’s stuff – but felt he was aiming the ball a little, and walking the leadoff hitter can’t make Joe or Guidry happy

Sounded like DeSalvo hung a couple of pitches – how did he look?

    Yanks win 4-3.

Sounded like Veras was a bit shaky in that ninth, but he nailed it down in the end.

How deep was that “deep” fly ball to right to end the game?

Wonder if it was “Michael Kay deep”…

I’m not sure if the first hit in the 9th was legit – Sterling implied Vechionacci could have gotten it

    Doumit’s double was definitely legit.

(Speaking of Vechionacci – he’s apparently put on some muscle since last spring, and looks much better at the plate. He was pretty highly touted a few years back, and he’s only 20 or 21)

Anyone know how they scored those last three runs?

I forgot how much I dislike suzyn. The best game last yr was the one she missed.

I dont understand why only some games are on the radio – the way they were talking the next game on wbrs is on tues. Is that true? I love how we have a radio station and tv channel dedicated to covering yankee games and tomorrows game isnt on either.
