Tomorrow on the blog: Derek Jeter Q&A
-

- 3
Earlier this week, we asked you to send in your questions for Derek Jeter and nearly 300 people responded.
I picked out the best 15 and presented them to Derek.
The answers – including full audio of the interview – will be posted tomorrow before 8 a.m. Make sure you check it out.
Derek talks about hitting to the opposite field, whether playing next to Alex Rodriguez has made him a better defender and who he would want to play him in a movie.
You won’t find it in the newspaper, only here on the blog.

thanks pete, looking forward to this
Always interesting, always creative, always giving us the inside scoop. Thanks Pete.
Play him in a movie was one of the 15 best?
Jeter is my favorite athlete of all time. I had so many questions I couldn’t pick just one, so I didn’t submit any
I’m really looking forward to this. Thanks again for everything, Peter.
Excellent work, Pete. Can’t wait.
I know you became a fan of Wang last year. Any chance of getting a few questions answered from him? He seems really quiet and I’m curious as to what his life has been like in America since joining the Yanks; how he’s dealing with it all.
I’m kinda mad that I won’t be able to read this for a week, but then again the reason why i won’t be able to read is that i’m goin to acapulco…so i guess in the end its not that bad
So, they’re getting ready to officially announce the DirecTV thing, huh? Does anyone have an e-mail address for the comissioner’s office? It’s just SO wrong that they have so little regard for those of us who purchased the package through our cable providers. They’re screwing their biggest fans. Jeeeeesh.
“Play him in a movie was one of the 15 best?”
You are officially a smart ass…....Just letting you know
Forbes: Best GM’s in Sports

This rankings are Joke and Kevin McHale ranks #1? . Are you kidding me? Theo Epstein rank are higher than Brian Cashman at #61. After Evil Empire Jr aka Redsox, spends loads amount of cash on freeagents this offseason. I think Cashman should rank higher than Theo. He did wonderful job as Gm calling young players from minors for the past two years like Wang and Cano and Melky . Also, Cashman replenish and rebuild the farmsystem by trading Old Veterans for young pitching.
Jeff: I’ve been a smart ass for decades. Listen, this blog has never entirely been just baseball. I’ve tried to have a little fun. Of the nearly 300 questions, nearly half were non baseball questions.
People like knowing something more about players then what pitches they like to hit.
I’m never going to be all things to every reader but I think there will be plenty in teh Q&A you will like.
Schilling opens his mouth again

And speaking of his team’s starting rotation, Boston’s Curt Schilling said: “I expect to be the ace of the staff. I expect these guys to have phenomenal years, and I’ll barely outpitch ‘em, and we’ll win the World Series.”[/quote]
Redsox will Win the world series with awful bullpen? Maybe next decade. Sarcasm… lol. I think the Yankees players put these words by Schilling on their lockers and use it as motivation. Please Curt, Shut f*ck up. I hope the Yankees don’t go after him this offseason
Peter read my post again I was responding to Li’s post where he made a smart ass comment if out of all the questions you received the movie question was one of the 15 best. I was actually calling Li that not you.
lol, Jeff. Peter didn’t sound too offended to be called that. I take it as a compliment most of the time when someone calls me that.
Yea Angle the problem was I wasent calling Peter that I was calling [b]Li[/b} that and I dident mean it as a compliment.
Pete continues to improve the best Yank blog out there
any news on derek’s injury?
