The Yankees scored a run in the ninth but left the bases loaded. The teams played one extra frame and called it a night.

Andy Pettitte told us he cut his left ring finger when that bat hit him in the first inning. But he’s fine.

Joe Torre on Roger Clemens: “I think he has an idea what he wants to do. I don’t think he knows where he wants to do it, to be honest with you. I didn’t grill him on that.”

Now I’m going to Disney World tomorrow.

By the way, congrats to Central Connecticut State and coach Howie Dickenman for making the NCAA tournament. Go Blue Devils.
