After going 0-1-1 in their two previous games, the Yankees came back to beat the Braves 5-3 in 10 innings.

Josh Phelps, who is giving the Yankees a lot to think about, had the go-ahead single in the 10th. Phelps is 6 of 10 this spring. The ever-clutch Bronson Sardinha followed with an RBI single.

Sardinha is 7 of 11 with five RBI in six games.

Colter Bean threw two scoreless innings. His line through three appearances: 4 1 0 0 0 4. If the Yankees don’t want to promote him, they should trade him and give him a shot somewhere.

Ron Villone got the save.
