Pete, you mentioned Mona Lisa’s and Mad Hatters in an earlier post. Great great great underrated song by Elton. Whenever I hear it I think of 9/11 because he played it at one of the tributes; I always felt that song nailed the mood of NY around that time.
He played that at the Concert for NY. Most of the artists choice appropriate songs for that. But when the boy band came on and sung. I couldn’t believe what they were singing. it was totally inapproprate for the concert.
