Final line for Pavano: 4.1 8 3 3 2 2.

He has allowed 18 hits and five walks in 12.1 innings. He has two more starts left before the season to get sharp. I’d guess that he is the No. 5 and Igawa the No. 4 at the moment.

Yankees are up 6-3. Abreu is out of the game, having gone 1 for 3 with a home run.
