Sean Henn continues to make his case

Ron Villone’s tough day continues.

Sean Henn came in with a runner on first and two outs in the fifth and got Jason Bay to pop to second. He stayed in the game and retired the side in order in the sixth.

In six appearances this spring, Henn has thrown six hitless innings with two walks and four strikeouts.

He does have that option. But if Brian Cashman is truly serious about being younger and cheaper, it would be tough to send Henn down and keep Villone. The question is how much much value you place on Villone’s experience.
