    Pete-

Any truth to the rumor that the decision has been made to take Phelps north over Phillips?

  2. Dan

I wonder which Kartsens we will see today. My guess: 6 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 2 K

  3. Mike

    Pete,

What’s the thought process behind Giambi and Minky switching positions for today? Unless Torre wants to have Giambi take some balls at 1st w/o sacrificing Minky’s spring training ABs.

  4. Jess in PA

    Pete,

Is Pratt in because Posada is still under the weather, or is he just not making the away game trip?

  5. Thurman

They’re at 39 players after yesterday’s cuts. What day do they have to be at 25? Next Sunday?

That leaves a week to move 14 players off the 25-man, or 13 if Wang is DL-ed, or 12 if someone else gets DL-ed….like Pettitte?

    Who are those 12-13, Pete?

  6. EV

Here’s a way more imporant question: did Farnsworth and Bruney convince Proctor to shave his head?

  7. Mike S.

    Dan,

if those are Karstens’ numbers, and the numbers he puts up in Wang’s absence, I’m sure we will all take it.

Today will be a good test for Karstens. It will be interesting to see how he responds.

    Is Jorge still sick?

Also I read in my local paper that Scott said he would shave his head if Johnny did. I’m guessing he is hedging his bet that Johnny won’t.

  9. Daniel

Hopefully they do take Phelps up north over Phillips, he deserves to win the job.
