But radar readings mean nothing.  You go by results -- and he&#039;s been a strikeout machine in the spring.  Which means people are not catching up to that fastball.</description>

		<description>Phillips palyed today, but so did 7 or 8 other designated minor leaguers. I believe the ESPN announcers confirmed that Phillips was sent down and can be signed by any MLB team before deciding to go to Scranton.

Peter:
Bruney pitched today and his velocity was way down between 90-91 mph. I&#039;ve observed him 4 times in ST and, although he has been very effecitve until today, he has never reached the 96-97 mph of last September.
Is the coaching staff concerned about his decreased velocity or do they feel that Bruney is still building arm strength?</description>
