It’s nice to be at the ballpark without a winter coat on. Here we are at the Metrodome and the Yankees are taking early batting practice.
Clubhouse opens to the media in eight minutes. Back soon (hopefully) with the lineup.
Well, here’s hoping that we get a six-inning start out of someone, anyone, before the end of April. Jeesh, I’ve been a Yankee fan since the ’50s and I can never recall pitching this horrible.
On the other hand, what a great country! Someone can make $16 million a year by playing soft-toss with the catcher! Wow!
any truth to the rumor that they’re turning off the heat tonight just to mess with our rotation a little more?
That’s because it hasn’t been this horrible, ever, in the history of the franchise
pavano made a good outing, even with infielders errors, if they back him up today it would be a great outing, pavano is not roger clemens but when he find his form pitching he will be a very helpfull to the rotation.
I believe Pavano is a legit #3 pitcher. The pitching staff, even though not showing it yet, is much improved from ’06. I was sick the first week watching these guys, also. Better days/nights are coming!
The Metrodome has to be the ugliest stadium of all-time. What do you think, Peter?
drove by old tiger’s stadium a few years back. pretty ugly from the outside. didn’t see inside…
