Before Joe came out to talk to us, I watched Mike Mussina run sprints on the warning track with Andy Pettitte. They went from the right-field foul line to center and back seven times. Moose walked off the field without a limp.

They won’t know his status for sure until he throws off the mound tomorrow morning. But his leg looks in pretty good shape based on what I watched.

Meanwhile, bullpen catcher Mike Borzello was playing catch with Alex Rodriguez. They finished up with Alex running pass routes and Borzello throwing the baseball like a football. They seemed to be having a lot of fun.

For whatever reason – and speculate as you will – Alex is much more relaxed this season.
