Thank You Cashman. The new era of Yankees fans please understand the farm is deep we will solve from within stop looking for the quick and expensive fix it has not worked for awhile, we can improve from within. Go Cashman.

Finally the NY Yankees are showing the cojones to play more prospects.

It should work out well because, with Mondayâ€™s off day, the bullpen will be at full strenth. This is important in case Cleveland should â€œchaseâ€? Wright early.

Pavano’s first start was less than stellar as was Igawa’s. Neither of them has shown any consistency (or in Pavano’s case the ability to avoid injury.) I would not be wrong in berating the contributions of either, but it is still early and I will reserve judgement until a few more starts. But I have a feeling Igawa’s next start won’t be as good as his last as he still hasn’t gotten command of all his pitches. I think Cash is understating the severity of Pavano’s injury and will eventually be put on the DL retro to a couple of days ago. In either case, I hope Chase pulls a Wang and makes a case to stick.

pavano is hurt, but he’s actually pitched decently.

igawa was bad in his first start and decent in his second.

let’s give him a few weeks before we send him to AA.

I wonder if chase will make a good impression. There’s a big difference between AA hitters and major league hitters. I hope he makes a great transition and sticks around – perhaps Igawa or Pavano get’s to take his spot on the AA roster. With what they’ve been doing so far, those two may have problems in AA.

Terrible mistake by the Yankees. We now can only cross our fingers and hope that Chase Wright would make it.
