Another day, another homer for A-Rod

That’s nine home runs and counting for Alex Rodriguez. He also has 23 RBI and joins David Wright of the Mets as the only players in baseball to have hit safely in every game this season.

The cold and wet crowd here kept cheering until he popped his head out the dugout and tipped his cap.

Rodriguez has had an extra-base hit in 12 of the 13 games this season and has scored 16 runs.

Obviously no player can stay on the pace he is on. But with the lineup the Yankees have around him, it’s hard to pitch around A-Rod. He could wind up with 50 homers and 145 RBI.
