Elbow strain for Pavano

Posted by: Peter Abraham - Posted in Misc on Apr 19, 2007 Print This Post Print This Post | Email This Post Email This Post

The Yankees finally sent Carl Pavano to get an MRI. It must be like when Norm used to walk into Cheers when he goes there.

Anyway, the Rajah of Rehab has what is being described as a “mild elbow strain.” He will be shut down for a week then start a throwing program. That means starting on flat ground, throwing a bullpen and then getting a rehab start.

So we don’t be seing the Rajah for a few weeks, if then. But thanks for those two starts.
