Joe Torre pregame audio

Other than a few injuries, there wasn’t too much to talk to Joe Torre about this morning.

When there’s a day game, there’s not much point (or need) for the media to rehash the previous game. Most of us are going to write about the game about to be played.

Josh Beckett’s fastball is 94-96 and he seems to have a good curveball. The shadows around the plate will work for the pitchers for a few innings.

I’m curious to see how Karstens does. He’s a pretty level-headed kid.

Guarantee the Yankees lose this game if they do not score at least 10 runs.

You guys are on crack if you think we are going to win this game.

This is pretty much what I expected of Karstens.

And Beckett isn’t doing too well at all, either. But I do trust his stuff sooooo much more then Karstens.

Beckett wont let up another run, Karstens will be out by the 3rd.

Ugh, Karstens is looking awful. Beckett got some hits off of him, but lucky placement besides the robbed Cano hit. Going to be a long day.

I hate these FOX announcers. They make me want to gauge my eyes out. No, wait, I’d still be able to hear them.

Yeah Thompson is going to make 4 outs today, you guys were right. Bernie would be better in this game…

    Wait… a double?

There is a need for you to rehash the last game when none of you had the balls to question why he pinchran for Giambi…
