Manny still not a Gold Glover

Peter Abraham
April

The Red Sox would be better off with a folding chair in left field than Manny Ramirez. Maybe one of those dogs that can catch a Frisbee.

Meanwhile, that’s 19 extra-base hits in 16 games for A-Rod and a 21-game hit streak. That is the longest of his career.

He may not be a gold glover, but did you see that skip he did over the ball? He’s so nimble. lol

  2. Russell

I dont like how they keep saying the Red Sox will trade ramirez and have enough to buy A-Rod next year.

  3. Jeff

Russell–isn’t that hilarious? They’ve been trying to trade Manny for years and haven’t been able to…now of all a sudden they’ll easily find a taker…HA

  4. Neil

    karstens needed another rehab start

Why is Bruney the low man in this bullpen?!

The man who should be our eighth-inning setup man is constantly pitching in the fifth. More Torre brilliance.

By the way, nice miss on an obvious strikeout to the vilely whiskered-chinned Youk, and an even nicer cookie four-seamer over the plate to Papi.

  6. vin

It’s obvious that Karstens doesn’t have the location to pitch to this lineup. His ball is running all over the place.

  7. Chris NJ

Stormy. We can’t count on him to be our 8th inning man just yet. Afterall, Vizcanio is getting paid some, and Farnesworth is getting paid plenty to be our 8th inning guy.

Well, we’ve established this much. Karstens is not ready for prime time. And the Yankees still have little problem putting up runs against Beckett. Enough to win, IMO, with a good pitcher on the mound.

  9. Chris NJ

Why would Clemens want the Yankees to lose and not come to the Yankees?

Can anyone answer that for me?

  10. Erick

    Harley,

I’d say putting up four runs against Beckett is not a problem. And the Yanks, except for the world series games, have pretty much owned him.

    Speciall last year.

Why Bruney here instead of Henn or Bean?

Bruney should have been saved for tomorrow.

  12. A-Rod for Prez

You see how the bottom of the lineup is killing us? Between this inning and the last, it could be a 1 run game at minimum.
