If Bruney isn't best suited for it, who is? Wild Thing Farnsworth? iron man Mike Myers? Bruney is one of our most consistent bullpen arms so far. He's one of the few that doesn't make me cringe these days. I don't think finding out he is pretty solid is a bad thing. We could use something that is solid about now.

finally wang is going to give us a hand cause this lack of pitching can cost an elimination of the playoff, without pitching there is nothing.

Uh, seems a little quick to give up on a guy. He found something last year and went 12-3 to win Florida League pitcher of the year. Give him a chance before we go to the next choice. I know patience is not a Yankee fan virtue.

damn forgot about Igawa. They could call rasner back up if need be. Otherwise why not clippard or ohlendorf or even steven jackson.

"As far as Cleveland those who say they are free swinging are just listening to talking heads, they have one of the best OBP in the league, they take plenty of walks and have an outstanding offense."

That may be true, but I watched the Indians swing at pitches that I guarantee 3/4 of the Sox lineup will not go after. Hey, no one wants to see him succeed more than me, but i think tomorrow will be a very tough challenge.

By the way, Clippard hasn't started since the 11th (probably today) they actually skipped him in the rotation last week, not sure why, maybe he is plan B.

I dont know - but if wright gets bombed tomorrow I would not want to send him back out there next week. we have wang, Pettitt, karstens and rasner healthy so I guess we would need a fifth with no off days. I wouldnt mind giving clippard a look - i think he is ready to take a big league start. Another possible option is ohlendorf.

Wright pitched well, his first start in the majors. As far as Cleveland those who say they are free swinging are just listening to talking heads, they have one of the best OBP in the league, they take plenty of walks and have an outstanding offense. Just wait before you right him off. By the way, who do you want to start Friday, Hughes?

Is there anything more annoying than Papelbon's stupid game face? If so, I haven't found it.
