maybe you were right about not bringing up hughes. that would mean cashman is wrong. uh oh. you’re between a rock and a hard place, admit cashman is wrong or apologize to the 10 people . i’m just busting you.
there’s way of telling what will happen. personally, i’d wait to bring him up because it’s better to err on the side of caution.
i saw matt garza pitch the other night in pawtucket. when you see him in person ,you can tell that he’s not emotionally ready for the major leagues, and he started 7-10 games in 2006. it’s not just stuff and command.
even if he wins a few games, it still could be a bad move with hughes. that said, i know we’ll all be hoping he does phenomenal thursday. the yankees may not be good yet, but are anything but boring this year.

SportsCenter is disrespecting the Yankees, Disrespecting Rivera. Rivera is better than Papelbon and Steve Phillips gave Mo props and that stupid son of a gun Brian Kenny was seriously debating it.

Hughes on Thursday makes no sense. He’s scheduled to pitch tomorrow, so they’d be throwing him off his schedule and messing him up.

It’ll be DeSalvo or Clippard. Probably DeSalvo.

That’s fine but we still need a pitcher for Thursday better than crappy Karstens. My idea is to push Pettitte back to Friday and have Hughes pitch Wed, but guess that’s not happenning.
