So I don't think that's true. My guess is DeSalvo, it'll be around his turn and he's been the best so far. His last two starts for Scranton were OK apparently. He is supposed to be a decent sinkerball pitcher with a fastball and curve, can issue walks, and is not knocking down the door at the Show. The best pinch-hitter we have is our starting catcher on his off-day. Phelps almost came through yesterday, but he nor Minky are great pinch-hit options. When Melky's not playing, he's capable, good hitter. But we have no power off the bench like we used to.. I do share your desire for a better bat off the bench though. I get it. The bottom of the lineup just seems very thin. I know its only April butI really think that they still need a Stick off the bench to pinch hit when its close and late. Also, another thing. If Joe is going to bring in Mo in the 8th, bring him in at the beginning of the inning, not to clean up someone elses mess. OK, No Bernie.
