41 pitches later, the Yankees show some life

Like I said, Matsuzaka is sharp.

What an inning for the Yankees. They sent nine men to the plate and saw 41 pitches. I know the guy can throw all day, but that has to take a toll on him.

As is often the case, Johnny Damon got it done when it had to get done.

Andy Pettitte has thrown a lot of pitches, too. This probably doesn’t end 4-2.
