The rotation for the Texas series will be:

Phil Hughes
Andy Pettitte
Mike Mussina

The Moose skipped his rehab game because of expected rain in Harrisburg and instead threw a simulated game in the bullpen. He will run through some drills tomorrow and then get into his routine.

We spoke to Kei Igawa, who claimed he needs to watch tape of how he pitched in Japan and get back to doing that. He thinks he needs to be more aggressive. Torre said they do not yet have a date for when he will pitch.

Carl Pavano played catch again. Torre said they continue to count on him, they just don’t know when. Right. I’m still counting on Diane Lane to go to the Bahamas for a week but she just doesn’t know it yet.

Derek Jeter says he’s playing tonight no matter what.

A columnist tried to engage Joe in some Bernie talk. Bottom: Everybody likes Bernie but he’s not coming back to play for the Yankees.

Back later with some Joe Torre audio.
