Yeah, ARod didn't get a hit today.

He only saved Mo from having to face Ortiz and Manny with a great play at third in the 9th inning.

The bum.

"Come on Wolf, put a positive spin ON THAT."

Dude, you're just rude. I politely asked you not to be negative on a good day, that's it. You can take your sarcastic comments about rainbows and unicorns along with you to the communications class you sorely need.

There's nothing positive about Karstens' leg being broken. So don't patronize me in order to justify your crappy attitude.

There happen to be a few people here that have thanked me for being positive about things, and I appreciate their comments and take pride in them. I'm not going to join in on yours or anybody else's fellowship of the miserable.

Hey Stormy: I put my name to it. Kyle or anybody else can say whatever they want. The players know it's not personal. Besides, all I would need to do is survive the first punch. There's no chance he could repeat two strikes in a row.

Holy moly, a win from the most unlikely hero (OK, except for Pavano). And Karstens tried to pitch on a broken leg?!

I feel for Karstens. Poor kid. And with how thin the Yanks' pitching is, this certainly is unfortunate for them too. But I mostly feel bad for him.

I was waiting for the first A-Rod dig. You knew it was inevitable. Even if it's just being sarcastic...you know sometimes I just can't tell on this Internet thing without the wink-wink smiley guys.

Well this will be one of the games that everyone will remember.

The second batter of the game breaks Karstens leg, Igawa comes out of the bullpen to pitch 6 innings of excellent ball, and Mariano saves the game. Posada homers, Jeter has 3 hits and Damon, Matsui and Cabrera each have one. ARod isn't clutch, he's hitless.

Sounds like a 'normal' Yankees/Red Sox game at the Stadium and that is great. Good to see the smiles again.

First of all, we've already cloned Karstens.. we're calling him Rasner.
Second, I'm feeling terrible, I thought the Yanks would lose 35 straight...but you never know, it's a long season.
