Good... good.... Hughes is learning to use the Pavano force well. I think he'll find his paycheck will be QUITE cashable when it arrives.

In seriousness.... I use Giambi's response to Karstens' injury for Hughes' injury. Aw !@#$%.

no way the yanks are bringing this guy back early even if its a pull and he could be back in 3 weeks, hes minimum 6 weeks. u're crazy if u think cash and torre will risk him re-injuring that hamstring. such a tease tho, that curveball was ridiculous. can't wait for him to come back.

Angel: thanks for the shoutout, but my mom is the one with the knowledge of injury. It sounds very vague, but since she's the one who rehabbed from a back injury that was supposed to leave her paralyzed, I'm apt to trust her words when it comes to dealing with injury. She saw the motion; she made her conclusions.

I'm not sure about the discoloration; I'll ask about it.

I don't think DeSalvo is comming up, he has pitched 20 innings in four games. That's five a game. Rasner has a better shot at comming up.

How is ESPN reporting anything when the Yankees don't even know yet?

Thanks for sharing that info, Katie. Its always good to hear from people who have knowledge about things that we don't. Does discoloration/bruising usually mean its torn?

Chris NY, I know what you're saying and I don't disagree at all. He definitely proved tonight that he has what it takes. I'm just saying, talent or not, we were warned prior to this start about getting expectations up for a long stay after his call up.

Look, you guys are great people to blog with, regardless of frustrations or disagreements. If anybody would like to chat about the Yanks or just get to know each other sometime, there's a link in my screen name to my myspace page. Feel free to send me a message sometime.

Now I'm *really* going to bed.
