The Yankees should just buy him out and dump him openly; press conferences and all complete with ESPN interviews. This guy needs to be:

- Shamed in public
- Banned from Yankee Stadium
- His locker emptied

Let him find is own way to each road venue. This guy is just a plain albatross. Thank goodness this is his last year. Even Kevin Brown pitched and put forth an effort. Carl Pavano is the worst FA signing in the history of the Yankees. Perhaps in all sports!

I think the Yankees should re-consider his actions last year and try to negate his contract. Either that or I want Pavano to be forced to pitch until his arms snaps and flies off like what happened to Dave Dravecky a few years ago. Miserable wuss. It disgusts me that I’ve contributed so much money to him- and even more so this year- at $145 a ticket!

I assume a lot of guys are too young to remember Andy Messersmith. Now THAT was a bad free agent signing.

Arguably, Don Gullett, since he was injured almost his whole time in pinstripes.
