I think Curt is starting to think, hmmm that actually sounds like a decent gig Roger has got. Watch in a few years, Schilling will be making the same demands and some team (hopefully not the Yankees) will grant his wish.

WCF, I don’t know if he did outright admit to those things. Wasn’t it more like, someone gave me something but didn’t tell me it was steroids.. but it might have been? Meaning he wasn’t confirming or denying, I thought. But even that, I don’t think he himself has said so publicly, he’s just been accused of saying so in that book. I don’t think he’s confirmed it..

Not that I’m defending either one of those cancers.

Were steroids illegal when Bonds was hitting his home runs? And nobody took bennies or other amphetamines in the 50s and 60s and 70s when Hank Aaron was playing?

Enough of this steroid witch hunt. I think the younger players get the health point, as do hopefully the current crowd.

Bonds will break the record, and deserves the credit. Hank Aaron not going is just sour grapes however he wants to dress it up in sanctimony.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t Bonds admit to using “the cream” and “the oil”, which we now know are steroids? So, didn’t he admit to using steroids without calling them steroids?

Not that I’m defending Schilling. I’d just like to set the record straight on Bonds.
