First base would be the most viable position to fill, but there's little talent available. Maybe the Yanks should DL Giamvino for 15 days and give Shelly Duncan his shot at MLB pitching. He certainly doesn't have a major league glove but perhaps could probide some pop from the right side. Dunn, Griffey, even Pronk, are all lefties and not ideal options with this lineup. Sexson is a worse option than playing Giambi at first. Honestly? I don't care that he did. Giambi is a great guy and when he is healthy he can mash. The problem is that he always has some sort've nagging injury.
