Kudos from a Red Sox fan in Arizona to Peter Abraham for the good-natured tone of this blog -- linked from bostondirtdogs.com. His coverage of the New York-Boston media game in Yankee Stadium was great fun, and so were his readers' reactions. My favorite was CrazyYankeeFan, who attempted to slap a jinx on the '07 BoSox by painting them as superhuman and unbeatable. Nice try, CYF, but according to the rules of the lesser gods who manage the fortunes of sports teams, you can't jinx my boys with overpraise. I could, but I won't. Nice start. It's only May. Lotta ball still to play. Hope everyone stays/gets healthy. One day at a time. (Have you noticed that our lesser gods don't seem to have a problem with clichés?)

I am glad to see that NY fans are getting joy over the NY media defeating the Boston media in a game. I mean, afterall the the yankees can't manage to defeat Boston, or anyone else much this season. Pardon me while I fall apart over the "Boston Media" I have never heard of before, being defeated by NY.

Do me a favor, can you tell the Yanks to get their crap together. All this winning is getting boring. I think I miss the anxiety. On second thought, no I don't.

Great, a bunch of writing hacks trying to play a game they can't. Which is why they write about it. How many threw like Damon? For you Boston fans: Damon: looked like jesus, acted like judas and threw like mary.

enjoy your victory. its all NY will have this year since they cant beat the Sox. I think Steinbrenner should just field the NY Media, they have to be better than the Yanks.
