His coverage of the New York-Boston media game in Yankee Stadium was great fun, and so were his readers' reactions. My favorite was CrazyYankeeFan, who attempted to slap a jinx on the '07 BoSox by painting them as superhuman and unbeatable. Nice try, CYF, but according to the rules of the lesser gods who manage the fortunes of sports teams, you can't jinx my boys with overpraise. I could, but I won't. Nice start. It's only May. Lotta ball still to play. Hope everyone stays/gets healthy. One day at a time. (Have you noticed that our lesser gods don't seem to have a problem with clichés?)
