You sure you didn’t play at The Trop? A lot of empty seats.
You should have invited us. We’d pay to see our fearless blog leader help put a licking on those Boston Trolls. Then you could donate the money to charity.
Pete – Loved the pictures and post about the media game. These are the types of things that I love about your blog! Keep up the good work – we appreciate it.
Peter –
I read Tom Verducci’s column on SI.com today, where he recounts his exploits as an outfielder for the Blue Jays in the Hall of Fame game. His descriptions of the small town roots of baseball, and Cooperstown, fit perfectly with your account of the writers’ game.
If anyone hasn’t yet gone to Cooperstown, I heartily recommend it.
Cute kid.
Yeah, the boy with the bat’s pretty cute, too…
Dude – is that an aluminum bat?

Got any photos of the team? I’d like to see some more shots of our fearless writers in action.
Can we pay the Boston media pitcher to earhole Joel Sherman?
HA! Joel’s always giving the Yanks a hard time. It’s gloom and doom from day 1!
I like Deep to Left’s suggestion. Next time invite your fans, we will cheer you on!
Sounds like it was a great time, Pete. What a thrill it must be to be on the field at Yankee Stadium!
Do you think they’ll be auctioning off the sod before they demolish it?
I thought that was Lupica.
