You can’t explain some games

How can you explain tonight? A guy with nine career steals swiped home.

A team that takes infield before the game commits two errors that lead to two unearned runs.

Jason Giambi steals a base then limps around the bases after hitting a homer like he’s Roy Hobbs.

Yet the Yankees lose in the end. “You want to keep it positive but it’s tough to keep it positive,” Jorge Posada said. “You continue to think ahead. It’s really, really tough right now, nothing’s coming our way.”

You can say that again. What a mess.
