Hi, I've started a petition to tell Major League Baseball that a significant number of fans dislike interleague play and want it abolished.

Please visit Petition to End Interleague Play and read it. If you agree, please consider posting it on this blog.

http://www.petitiononline.com/mlb2007/petition.html

Your fellow LoHud blogger John Delcos has posted it - perhaps you will, too.

I'm hoping to spread the word among serious baseball fans. I realize it may do very little, but I thought it was time we stop complaining to each other and tell management how we feel. Thanks!

How does 'class' (or lack thereof) enter into it at all?

Bottom line - they're rooting for the Red Sox to LOSE because it has a direct effect on the standings. The Red Sox can't every well lose if one of their starters tosses a no-hitter.

Get over it.

(I'd have a ton more respect for the guy if it was "Yes"!)

I would have loved it if Sox lost but I saw the end of the game when they showed it on espn and bottom of 9th 2outs and Schilling wins the game but he loses his no no, hehe.
Funny line by Myers, lol. :)

I gotta say, I laughed when 38 blew it, not because he's on the Sox, but because he's annoying as hell. I bet the Yankees who cheered felt the same.
