Friday: Roger Clemens (1-0, 4.50) vs. Oliver Perez (6-5, 3.21), 7:05, Channel 9, Channel 11

Saturday: Tyler Clippard (3-1, 5.32) vs. Tom Glavine (5-4, 4.15), 1:05, YES, Channel 11

Sunday: Chien-Ming Wang (6-4, 3.49) vs. El Duque Hernandez (3-2, 2.38), 8:05, ESPN

A few notes: Clemens, Glavine and El Duque have 126 years between them. When Rocket made his debut on May 15, 1984, Julio Franco was playing shortstop for Cleveland. He’s now on the bench for the Mets. Clemens has not faced the Mets at the Stadium since June 28, 2003. He held them to one run in eight innings that day. … Glavine is 3-0 with a 3.50 ERA in his last three starts against the Yanks. He will give them a fight on Saturday. … This will be the first time the Wanger has faced the Mets. … El Duque is 0-3 in three career starts against the Yankees. … This is a huge spot for the Yankee Clippard. With all the chatter about the rotation being four reliable guys and the kid, this is a chance for him to make it five reliable guys.
