Did A-Rod “ask out” of the game? He stayed in and it wasn’t until Bowa went out and talked to him and brought out Torre and Donahue that A-Rod came out.

Well, if Alex is out for a long period of time, I don’t think the season is over. If Alex is out, look for Cash to make a trade for a Carlos Pena type of player. Dimitri Young, Ty Wigginton, Scott Hatteburg, Ronny Belliard, etc. LOOK FOR CASH TO GET OFF HIS BEHIND!!!!!!

oh PS… Nomar’s groin was a grade 3… the guy was down for the count and almost crying… my hammy was a grade 2 and I heard a pop and couldn’t play the rest of the game… I suspect A-Rod’s is a 1 and yes, he will play in the all-star game and thereafter

Guys:

Any hamstring injury is a tear. There’s a group of three muscles and when an athlete gets injured, the muscle fibers get pulled apart. The rest of the terms are just words teams use. Doctors laugh when they see what teams say.

I love that I’m being sensational when I report what the team says. The guy asked out of the game, left the place with his leg wrapped and said he was having trouble putting weight on it. It may not be a long-term injury and I hope it’s not because I do not want to cover a 78-win team. But it’s not just nothing.

No, it’s not as bad as Hughes. But Cano wasn’t either last season. Or Wang or Mussina or anybody else. They all went on the DL.

Guess we’ll find out tomorow.
