Johan Santana made the right moves as the Twins beat the Yankees.

Alex Rodriguez may sit out the All-Star game. This notebook also has some troubling stats for Wil Nieves, a questionable call for Joe Torre and good news for Frank Torre.

    I looking forward to seeing Edwar Ramirez again maybe today. This is the ONLY highlight in the games now since there is no more playoff hope.

    I agree, that Edwar game 2 days ago when he struck out the side was the best inning I watched all year!!

    The most troubling part of the notebook to me is that the Yanks are using recordings for the national anthem and God Bless America. If New York has run out of singers, I would gladly fill in.
