No justice, no sweep

Johnny Damon (3 for 28) is in a terrible slump and they’re trying to figure out what to do. He and Kevin Long have worked on his stance and he’s had some decent at-bats but no hits. He’s 0 for his last 17.

Wang met with Ron Guidry after the game and talked about throwing more changeups. Wang doesn’t show a lot of emotion but you could tell he was pretty upset about letting that game get away.

“We should have won,” he said.

Luis Vizcaino has a 1.13 ERA since May 28 and has 22 strikeouts in 24 innings. I think you’re going to see a lot of him in big spots.
