Next moves should be Wigginton or Betemit for Proctor or Farnsworth. This would DFA Cairo. Bullpen help can come from AAA (Britton/Brower) or a Farnsworth deal to Colorado for Brian Fuentes as rumored. The Yankees would have to pick up some of Farnsworth's '08 salary of 5.5M in any deal. He may not have played up to the level that some of us wanted, but you can never say the guy didn't try. I know its an obvious upgrade to bring in Molina, but a part of me is disappointed because its more fun to win with guys who you can really cheer for. (Hence why I'll never knock the Sheffield trade, good riddance). Once again thanks Wil and good luck wherever you end up. I'll be rooting for you Pete,

Nieves was coming into his own after the all star break though. Ok, let me stop. Hopefully, we'll get Ty Wigginton or Wilson Betemit. It's always nice sweep a doubleheader. The Viz got a win in both the doubleheaders and he's 8-2. I guess Chris Britton and Jim Brower will getting their chance very soon. The Rockies have interest in Farnsdearth. This was a nice upgrade. IMO, the answer is yes. I would be interested in what you think. It appears that with Hughes coming back and the offense starting to hit its stride, that adding someone like Mark T. from Texas, especially after Cashman said earlier that this Yankees team had not yet earned it, making that type of trade would be a nice added boost to what seems to be a much better “morale� for the team. I also agree that sitting Duncan in the 2nd game was a good move. No need to make him play both ends of the DH, and there are some pretty good players kinda ahead of him seniority wise, right ?
