(something that gives me arguably more pleasure than seeing the yanks win. I know I have an illness, enjoying the suffering of both the sux and their fans. I still have the infamous game from 10/16/03 saved permanently on my Tivo, which qualifies me as the most pathologic fan I know. I have yet to meet someone else who still has this game on his/her Tivo. Btw, although I haven't done an actuarial analysis yet, the division is the much more likely scenario, even though we are closer to the wild card.
