Either Tavarez is really really bad or the Angel hitters are that good. Probably both.

Joe L, re Michael Kay, I noticed what you said and you could be right on all points--it does help your reel if you downplay Yankee positives. However, if you're right, we're in even worse trouble than I thought. I've looked into the YES Network quite a bit, documented quite a bit, and long ago found it impossible to watch, in fact an outrage. YES Network likes to point out certain benefits of other teams, so they're quite capable of being the catalyst for Kay's remarks. I hope you'll write letters to anyone and everyone as I have.

Tavarez in for the Red Scum. Doubles in first pitch. Can we say 5 back?

Is this a mandatory 5 game suspension or is it up to Watson how many games.......Special circumstances may prevail on his sentence...

If Rocket gets suspended, it won't do have much affect because he'll just have 5 days between starts instead of 4 days.

Here's what will happen:

Rocket will receive his 5-games from the commissioner's office

Rocket will then appeal

Rocket will then start another game

Rocket will withdraw appeal after start and serve his 5 games

He's not going to miss a start - he'll just have his start pushed back a day.

If there is an off-day squeezed in there somewhere, the rotation won't skip a beat and there will be no need for a spot start by Karstens or Igawa.

I love Raaja. Bowa rocks, too.

HaHa. Angels broadcaster said, "I've been hit by a Wakefield pitch. Feels like a mosquitoe bite."

Wakefield: another veteran pitcher who doesn't know how to pitch with a lead. Chased in the 5th, no outs.
