Hafner questionable for Indians

Just arrived at the ballpark. It sounds like Travis Hafner won’t play for the Indians tonight because of a sore left knee.

The always informed Will Carroll of Baseball Prospectus reports that the symptoms don’t look good.

Back with the lineups later.

I hope this isn’t too serious. Hafner is a tremendous talent.

I suggest he gets surgery now to prepare him for the postseason *cough* aka watching the Yankees, Red Sox, Tigers and Anaheim fight it out *cough* :p

So… apparently using an asterisk makes stuff *bold* :p

I’d rather have Hafner and his .250 avg in the game. He’s sucked this year.

But, even though the numbers have dropped, he’s still a power threat and gets on base 38% of the time. He’s not a fun guy to face, even when he’s not playing well.
