The New York Yankees are the best in baseball and they always will be. You will see soon, we will be first in place by the end of August just like always. The Red Sox will be 2nd or 3rd in place by end of August or 1st of September. They cannot beat us. They are not the Boombers for nothin. They earned that title a long time ago.

Pete, love your comment about resting the starters. Honestly, this team is more exciting than recent years as they seem to win as a group by picking each other up and now have injected the youth of Hughes and Joba into the pitching staff to go along with Cano, Melky, Wang.

Go ANSKY!!!!!

Boston doesn't have that difficult a schedule coming up (except for us and the angels) so we're going to have to keep up the pressure. It's annoying that we need to replace Clemen's for a start, especially when he was so effective his last start.

Sometimes I feel as though admitting these deep, dark, Yankee-obsessed dreams, they will never come true. But if the Yankees keep playing like this and Boston plays to script, I really want to see Matt Damon back on Letterman in the off-season.

Why in the world would any team want to trade/sign a pitcher with *gag* in his name? He's just primed for... (wait for it)...

*choking*.

But with that said, we need to win as many games as we possibly can. We do that, we can make the playoffs and then we can focus on each round.

This is exciting baseball. 5 teams battling it out for division and wild card spots. (Not counting the Angels.) This is what I always expect from the Yankees. - exciting, meaningful baseball. I say, let's open the badnwagon, let everyone jump on, send out all the positive vibes we can -- the more the merrier!!!! Win or lose, at least it's going to be excruciatingly, painfully, exhilaratingly FUN!
