May I ask why are you on a Yankee blog?

The Yankees are my team, your team, his team, and her team. That is all that matters.

And the guy who says “the Red Sox barely merit a page”, that should be FRONT PAGE. There has never been nor will there ever be a comeback like 2004. But you’re too blind to even give that another thought. I had to laugh the day after “the collapse” listening to Mike and the Mad Dog. All those poor crying Yankees fans getting ready to hang themselves. They were speachless.

The Red Sox are America’s Team…..Get over it. Its all gonna be OK.

Boston has an inferiority complex, simple as that. On the whole, the city has about as much relevance as their team, very little. Hell, the only two good shows based there were “Cheers” and maybe a few episodes of “Boston Legal”. I don’t even like Sam Adams’s Beer, give me a good Czech pilsener any day over that over-hyped swill.

It’s a place where conformity is the norm, and they cling to the exploits of the Red Sox, living their pathetic lives vicariously through them. So be it, who cares ? When it is all said and done, the Yankees are still by far the most successful franchise in sports history. If the Yankees merit a chapter, the Red Sox barely merit a page.
