End of a long night at Comerica Park

The Yankees were not pleased with the idea of starting the game at 11:06 p.m. But because it was the last (and only) time the teams were playing in this park, the umpires had control of the situation.

“I may have had said something but it wasn’t my decision,” Joe Torre said.

Here are a few quotes I was able to gather:

Jorge Posada on his ejection: “He (Bob Davidson) should be answering the questions, not me.”:

Sean Henn on the home run: “I thought it was a pretty good pitch when it left my hand. I guess he did, too.”

Roger Clemens: “This is one you feel pretty good if you win and it hurts if you lose.”

That’s about all I have. I’m wiped. Thanks for all the comments and sticking with it tonight.
