Does eveyone remember major league baseball ordering the Red Sox to remove the televisions from their bullpen a few years back? Teams were complaining that the Sux were stealing signs and relaying them from the bullpen.

I guess in Beantown cheating is a tradition.

I think a lot of people were surprised by the call.. I think it was a hard call to justify. I guess I understand the ump not wanting to let things get out of hand or something…

But I think umps need to be much more careful about making these kinds of calls.

Drive, I think Joba’s reaction that he was tossed was genuine. I was and am still surprised the ump didn’t just offer a warning, especially since Yuk didn’t even get hit or even have to move much to get out of the way. Oh and to clarify, I do not think Joba was trying to hit Yuk, if he was, he would not have missed.
