Lets sweep these guys and get within 2… :) I like the match ups, interested to see how Rocket will perform.

I know I’m stating the obvious, but the only way the Yanks can win the division is if they sweep the series. And if they go into Sunday night with a chance to do so, Clemens vs. Big Mouth, it will be a ridiculous scene up in Boston. That being said, I just want to see the Yanks win the series and continue to keep the Tigers at arms length. I also want to see them continue to hit Boston’s big 3 hard. I dont want those guys to feel good about themselves when the Yanks face them in the playoffs.

The frat boys are getting liquored up, the lobster fishermen are hosing-off their pots and Manny is putting in his Visine.

Is getting close to game time in the Chowder-hole.

Peter, what is the mood in the clubhouse for this series? I know the Yankees should be all into it but I don’t sense that from the Sox players from the media clips. It’s seems like they are a lock for the post season and don’t xare too much about this series as they normally do.

I hope they fall asleep at the wheel like a Boston Congressman.

HI Pete, Can you find out if the yankees signed dominican prospect Edward Salcedo

Wow! Now that is a most fascinating lineup of pitchers. This should be quite the series for sure. Yankees sweep!

    Pete & SJ44,

Are the Yankees sending anyone to Hawaii Winter Ball? Some names are trickling in. Wieters and Snyder (Orioles), Bard (Boston), and Harvey (Cubs). Thanks!

Action Jackson is going to Hawaii

Is there a classic cover-up going on with The Rocket? Ligament damage and internal bleeding in a 45 year old is not what you want to hear…what can we realistically expect from him the rest of the way?

    CountryClub,

Thanks. Last year they had Red Sox coaches, Yankee trainers, and players from both teams (Joba & Kennedy!). The players I listed are on one team so it’ll be interesting to see where they put the Baby Bombers.

Roger Clemens is the real wildcard in this pennant race. Look for a Schilling-esque performance. Tough All Day!
