While I hope he has a mind boggling post season, discounting what he has done to help get the team get to this point is petty and uninformed. Jeter is great, but all said and done after they both finish their careers, A-Rod will be placed well ahead of Jeter by baseball historians. They don't call him Capt. Clutch for nothing! A-Rod is amazing too, and I think the media created an image of him that is bogus. Without him the Yanks would have no hope for the playoffs, as he carried the team during a really bad stretch. He definitely puts too much pressure on himself and this weekend it showed up again. If he can find a way to just relax and play his game, he'll give us some very exciting moments in October. Just because we worship Jeter (and I admit, I'm guilty of that), we should show appreciation for the mega-talent of A-Rod, because we need him to win the big prize this year! GO YANKS!
