I'm a Joe Torre-lovin', Brian Cashman respecting, totally optimistic "don't worry guys we're gonna be fine I have faith in this team no matter what" Yankee fan. But if you told me at any point this season, even when we were playing well in July and August, that the AL East would be the CLOSEST race in baseball going into the final week, I'd have thought you were crazy. A win tomorrow, and we're not one game away from catching the Red Sox...we're one game away from PASSING the Red Sox...mwahahaha! Wow. You got to figure this years experience will help them go deeper into games next season. I still think Torre makes some strange moves in the BP. I also think he goes to it to early.
