Torre met with George Steinbrenner over lunch before the game. This notebook also has updates on A-Rod, Roger Clemens and Hideki Matsui.

How can I get my tix?I received notification that I won the ‘lottery’ by registering on Yankees.com and to claim on line today. However the tix they PROMISED by going online seem to be NOT AVAILABLE.Can anyone help me?

  8. saucy

i think other’s that won the lottery may have beat you to ‘em.

    i think they’re first-come, first-served amongst lottery winners.

  9. saucy

i was a little bummed about not winning the lottery

but i think i’ll hold off for WS tix.

pounder: you may be trying to get tickets in an area that no longer has available tickets. Also, try for a different game. Also, make sure you’re following the directions exactly. I have never gotten tickets through the lottery, but I know when I got them through my season ticket package, it was kind of a specific process.

I had an incredable strong feeling in my gut. Experience tells me that we are not out of it. Even though we have won more titles in October that no one else dare come close to,it never gets old no matter how many more we win now and in the future. No one can hold a candle to the New York Yankees. BASEBALL ROYALTY!!!

So Boston, put that in your bean pots and smoke it!!
